      Recently we had an outbound thread sending messages to an receiving system.  For 9 hours the receiving system was not getting anything, but there ws no indication of this by QDX.  The thread was green and said “UP” and the counter was incrementing.  After we realized there was a problem, I checked the log and the following error message was listed

      “PDL signaled exception: code 1, msg TODDS PDL write error”.  Is anyone familiar with this?

          What is the exact configuration of your outbound thread?

            Thread tab: PDL-tcpip protocol using mlp_tcp.pdl.  

            Inbound tab: Retries 1, Interval 5

            Outbound tab; Retries 1, Interval 5, Await Replies checked, Timeout – 5,  TPS Inbound Reply – hcitpsmsgkill.

              I don’t know what exactly “PDL signaled exception: code 1, msg TODDS PDL write error” means, but I have a bit diff settings as you do, and it worked perfectly:

              Inbound tab: Retries -1, Interval 10

              Outbound tab; Retries -1, Interval 10, Await Replies checked, Timeout 10,  TPS Inbound Reply – hcitpsmsgkill.
