      Good Day All,

My colleague and I encountered an issue we both have never encountered previously in our test environment. Outbound HL7 messages from a particular process were appearing to have been appended by older results sent outbound previously, from the same process. The problem was resolved by restarting the process; however, we would like to determine the root cause in order to identify what type of configuration should be avoided to reduce the risk of such an issue occurring again (i.e. overlapping processes, etc.).

Has anyone else encountered this type of issue?

Thank you in advance for any feedback which could potentially result in the identification of the root cause of this issue.

What protocol is the interface? Fileset-ftp to fileset-ftp? pdl-tcpip to pdl-tcpip?

            David,

The affected outbound thread receives results from 4 different inbound threads. The protocols for the routing from those four threads consists of:

            1 x pdl-tcpip

            3 x tcpip

The merged messages all appear to be from those results sent from the single pdl-tcpip route.
