unable to view Tcl script

I made a copy of an existing tcl script and I am not seeing it in the look up to select.  Isn’t there a command for loading it into the view?  I tried rebooting the server and that didn’t work.   Any thoughts?

Donna,

If you simply copied the script (via command line) into your $HCISITEDIR/tclprocs directory, then you need to run the ‘mktclindex’ command while in the $HCISITEDIR/tclprocs directory.  This will add the new Tcl proc into the ‘tclIndex’ file which is what makes it available in the engine.

Simpler technique.

Once you copy it in, use the GUI and open the TCL file.  Save it, and the reindex will be done for you.  Easy Peasey.
