          Lisa, you will need to modify your variant to include the NTE segment. Or, you could use tcl to remove the segments.

            Lisa,

            I would add to make sure you place the NTE in the proper group if the inbound system is sending it as a part of a group.

            Also I would suggest making the segment optional.

            Don’t forget to do a Reconfigure in your Xlate to pick up the modified variant.

            Based on your description I am going to guess you are not using a variant currently so you will need to create one.
