I am unable to start and stop threads / processs , unable to send messages using SMAT on one particular site. Removed all the sem_* files , cleared memory regions but still issue persists.

I have several processes under this site and i keep SMAT history and log history   for several months. BTW will this cause any issue. Current size of all files under the processes directory is 22 GB.

When you say you are unable to stop threads/processes, do you mean from GUI or command line?  If from GUI, I’m not surprised, you should stop from command line using hcienginestop command.  If from command line using that command, I’ve never seen it fail, so would log a ticket.

This is how we fixed the issue

            Log off from Client GUI

            1) Connect to GUI using hciaccess & from command prompt using non admin account

            2) Restart the threads and process . GUI is responsive here

            3) Restart host service

            4) Log in again with user credentials

            Strange problem is fixed 🙂
