thread owning another threads messages

Hello,

Has anyone ever heard of this happening?

I have two inbound threads that are in the same process, but never communicate to one another (fr_a and fr_c).

Yet, one day fr_c filled up with ~30,000 pending messages (state 11)

and the metadata for all of the messages were:

Owner: fr_c

Source: fr_a

Dest: to_b

fr_a

---

> to_b

fr_c

---

> to_a

Does anyone know how thread fr_c could have acquired ownership of messages from fr_a?
