      Ok I was told the answer was here. I can’t seem to find it.

      In the doc is says select Vendor for Vendor External for External.

      But that is about useless.  It only works when I select Vendor. So I don’t know what it means.

      What are these flags and what are they used for?

      It is working but I sure would like to know what these are for.

          Basically, it’s a licensing issue on how many external threads you are allowed. There is more detailed information in the QDX Installation Guide, Chapter 2, Basic Concepts.

          hcilicstatus will display your license details. Check under the Interfaces section to see your Vendor and External limitations.
