      Hi,

I have been looking to see if this is even possible.

If an interface inbound thread does not receive a message in x mts, I want the thread to change color. We have seen cases where a thread shows UP and GREEN even though the application side is down and no messages are flowing.

I have setup alert for Last Receive to send a pager/email with message, but want to know if ITS EVEN REMOTELY POSSIBLE to help the helpdesk people out so they can direct the user calls more efficiently.

      Thanks,

      Hari

          Hi Hari,

I’m not sure what version Cloverleaf you have.  We are on 5.8 and I’m not sure I’ve ever looked for this on earlier versions so don’t know if it exists.

In 5.8 you can assign a color based on protocol status.  Not sure if this is what you are looking for.   In our Network Monitor GUI, you can click on “Options” at the top.  Then click on Protocol Colors.  You can assign different colors based on protocol status.   You can also changed colors based on queue depth.

As far as changing colors based on no messages in a certain amount of minutes….I’ve never seen it done and would love to know how if someone does figure it out.

          Thanks….Tom
