      One of our hospitals is running Qdx 5.6 on Linux, and the engine is unable to connect to the receiving system.

          I think without a reboot, you’d need to find the process that has hijacked the port and kill the process.

          Are you sure it’s the engine port that’s the culprit and not the receiving system?  Have you tried to have the receiving system cycle their TCP/IP listener?

              If you want a command, try lsof and grep for the port you see it connected to.

              #lsof | grep 10158

              hciengine 917628
