We are on 6.0.1 and our tcl version is 8.5.10 that came with it. Can newer versions of tcl be used with our current version? i know there is tcl 8.6 out. Just curious how that works.
Normally you’re stuck with whatever version is included in your Cloverleaf release. You could install a newer version of TCL on your system (maybe in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin) and you could write standalone scripts in that version, but you wouldn’t be able to use a newer version for writing TPS procs that are run within the engine.
