No all TCL versions have the same format it changes from version to version with improvements in syntax. To find out which version at the command prompt in unix/windows type hcitcl and follow the sample provided. A major and minor relase number will be provided. > hcitcl
hcitcl> info tclversion
8.3
hcitcl> exit
