TCL cmds using Cloverleaf procedures

This is probably a silly question, but where do I run tcl shell cmds from within Cloverleaf to have access to the file system and CL proc library?  

I’ve used the Remote Commands routine in CL to pass tcl commands; is this what I should be using?  Is there a command I need to run to get access to the CL global variables?
