      All,

      I have confirmed that the version of the tar package distributed with Cloverleaf 5.8 is the latest version (0.4).

      Has anyone used this package in Cloverleaf 5.8 and do all of the functions perform as advertised?

      I have used the older tar package (0.1) in Cloverleaf 5.6 and have been limited to only some of the functions. I would like to plan on rplacing exec tar with the use of the tar package if all works as advertised.

          Jim,

          Have a similar questions with 5.8 tar version, ever get anything more on  this?  Thanks.

            Ray,

            Since we have not migrated away from 5.6 yet I have not been able to do anything.

            We are in the process of planning a migration to Cloverleaf 6.0 and I will attempt to give this a try when we get there.

            In the meantime if anyone else has an answer please chime in.
