Start NetMonitor with a defined view

Is there a way to have NetMonitor to start with a defined view.  I would like to have a Production View established and start with that as the view.  This would allow for the staging of threads near production that would not be in the production view until tha actual implementation or turining on of the thread.  The ops area that monitors doesn’t like to see the staged threads.  They tend to panic when threads are dead.  Any ideas….
