Does anyone have the X12lib that includes the batch, lib, and pkgIndex for EDI version 5010 or know how to modify code for version 4010?

We have installed and implemented the Integrator 5.8R4 Release of Cloverleaf which includes the 5010 X12 message templates.  Then in conjunction with our X12 Financial expert went ahead and created X12 variants from our old 4010 templates.  That is, imported them and modified to fit the 5010 standard.  So far this has worked for us since December 9, 2011.

So… we run dual roots for now:  5.7R2 to handle our “HL7 V2” interfaces; and 5.8R4 to handle just the 5010 stuff.  Eventually we will migrate everything to 5.8R4.

That was our approach.

Last time we asked Lawson support the answer was No – upgrade.

You could try to negotiate with them to package up the 5010 components.

Check with your customer Representative.

By the way, they now provide a 5010 standard for HIPAA in 5.8.5 (patch 5).
