We have a DFT message flow of; HL7 in Epic to a FRL creating a masterfile in Cloverleaf, then out of Cloverleaf through an HRL in sequential batches of 98 messages with a header and footer on each batch. We are seeing two issues. Several of the HRL created batches have blank lines in them. We thought it might be a wrapping issue, but some have three blanks in a row. Second issue. We append the charge messages all day, then at 2300 we kick off the HRL. There seems to be a trickle effect for a bit after we kick this off creating very small batches, still with the header and footer but with the batch sequence number starting at 001 each time. If we have the timer set for 2300 will it stay open for a length of time.
