I want to use SMAT to resent some messages, but I did not want to send them thru a central thread that goes to several systems.  I only want the messages to go to one system.  So, I decided to build a thread that contained the route that I wanted to send to, but I haven’t been unsuccessful in getting the messages to the destination thread.    Anyone have any experience doing this?  From the status of the thread, looks like the messages got Xlated okay, but messages out is zero.  I selected Protocol: file for this thread, the destination thread is Protocol:pdl-tcpip.

      Appreciate any help/suggestions.

Depending on how many you want to send, why don’t you save the messages off to a file.  The run them through the route tester and save the results of the route test to a file.  You will have one file for each destination thread.  Then just send them outbound through the destination thread.

          Hope this helps…

            Nora.

We have a ‘resend’ ADT facility that allows messages to be sent from the PAS system to one application.

This uses the PAS messages EVN date time and sets it to a ‘1900’ value – one month for each application id.

The Cloverleaf ‘outbound’ threads – multiple threads that receive from the ADT ‘splitter’ check the EVN date and if it is a ‘1900’ date, check to see if it required for them.

Off the top of my head you may be able to use the message priority meta data in a similar way to the above if you are using the hcicmd ‘resend’
