smat files parsing problems in 5.8

We are upgrading from 5.3 to 5.8

We noticed that all our parsing smat files scripts stoped to work

because each message precedes by the following line

{CONNID 0} {IPVERSION 4} {CLIENTIP 10.1.2.11} {CLIENTPORT64365}MSH|^~&|EPIC|00

03|ENGINE|0003|20100729143704|18728|ADT^A31|9592|P|2.2|||

Smat GUI tool works fine though

Can you tell me how do you deal with this?

Is it quick way to modify our scripts ?

Roman,

The information you provided was in the .msg file?

If so, I am guessing this may be a bug as that definitely looks like metadata that belongs in the .idx file – also it looks like one of the keyed list entries in flawed.

However I do not have 5.8 so this is just guesswork.

With 5.8, there is a change to the structure of the SMAT files.
