SMAT DB not saving messages

      Using SMAT DB on v6.1.  We have encountered some instances where SMAT is enabled, the file name is defined, but no messages exist in the SMAT DB.

      • There are no messages erroring
      • There is a good volume of messages hitting this process / threads.
      • The process log is clean with no warnings/errors
      • We are only using 20% of total space partitioned for the site (no issues preventing writes to the disk)
      • To troubleshoot, I have renamed the process and did a site cleanup (dbinit), still no luck

      Any ideas?

          You need to contact Support so they can get in and take a look.

            UPDATE: this was caused by user error.

            This process was created to SMAT inbound messages from an external system. It was setup to receive then split to SMAT threads based on message type. Consequently, those are outbound threads.  We were SMATing on the inbound message (on an outbound thread).

            No issues with expected SMAT behavior.
