Shell Windows CL 6.2 on Windows 2012

Hi

I just installed Cloverleaf 6.2 on Windows and noticed that the Shell Window

button does not work.

I tried tampering around with Options -> Client Preferences and the client.ini file witout any results. Any idea how to get this to work.

I can open a command prompt and write setroot / setsite no problem, jost not from the gui

  Do you have to open the command window “as administrator”? I have a client that’s what I have to do..open the Cloverleaf GUI and Command window as administrator.

  Server 2012 has “enhanced” security. Turning off UAC will not completed deactivate all the requirements for running jobs etc as admin.
  
  See this article: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/13953.windows-server-2012-deactivating-uac.aspx for additional steps to completely deactivate UAC. Which should also remove the requirement of running the command window as admin.
