If you run the IDE from Linux, the shell button opens up an Xterm window. If you’re using MobaXterm or other software that tunnels you GUI traffic over SSH, then it should be secure.
I usualy set up the Remote Shell Command in Client Preferences –> External Commands –> Remote Shell Command and put in the following for example: C:\Program Files\PuTTY\putty.exe @H
Keith, i tried that with powershell or just cmd.exe as well as cygwin and none launched. There may be something I’m missing with them. It doesn’t complain — Jut doesn’t launch. It will complain if it can’t find the file (IE: I type the wrong location).
