I am in the process of working with a vendor that is just creating an interface from scratch. Right now he is having a problem sending Ack messages back to Cloverleaf. I have a Pending queue of about 1,000 messages and I would like to be able to send him one message so that he can troubleshoot what is happening on his end. Is there a way to Start a thread and only send one message from the queue for testing purposes? Once the problem is discovered and then rememdied then I would be able to send the entire queue for processing.

On the outbound thread, on the outbound tab, under inbound replies, put hcitpsmsgkill as the first proc in the TPS Inbound Reply list.

Set retries -1, timeout to what ever number you want.

I have a previous clovertech post at this URL:

            <a href="https://usspvlclovertch2.infor.com/viewtopic.php?t=1621&” class=”bbcode_url”>https://usspvlclovertch2.infor.com/viewtopic.php?t=1621&

that describes how I handle down time of foreign systems.

My solution isn’t a quick fix but is a well thought out solution that gives me the granularity of control you are asking about and has proven very successful over the years.

One thing I really have come to like about my down time model is it allows us to mock go-live in production with an interface and have it running and debugged before the actual go-live.
