semaphore errors on 5.7 rev2

I’m getting semaphore errors on a new 5.7 install that I’m setting up.  I’m working with sites that were promoted from 5.5.  I followed the setup instructions regarding semaphore and file limits.

The OS is Redhat 5.1 on VMware.  I was able to start monitord on two sites.  Here’s the error I’m seeing when I try to start the third site:

Hi Dave,

You need to increase some kernel parameters regarding to semaphores – please contact Technical Support for the details techsupport@healthvision.com

Thanks for the tip.  I doubled the number of semaphore arrays from 256 to 512, and I can start my site now.  I’ve also sent an e-mail to support, so we’ll see if they have any other tips.

i’m having the same issue. I know this thread is old, but can someone provide some details on this error what this error mean and how to fix it.
