segmentation violation while installing 5.3 on AIX 5.1

I’m trying to install Cloverleaf 5.3 on AIX 5.1.  During the install I get a segmentation violation and the install aborts.  Any ideas what is causing this?  Here’s the screen capture of the installation process…

# mount -v cdrfs -r /dev/cd0 /CL-cdrom

# cd /CL-cdrom  

# ls
