      Hello,

I have a need to schedule a THREAD STOP/START periodically on certain days/times.

      The day/time/duration can vary.

I was looking into doing it thru an ALERT but don’t see any “date/time” ALERT TYPE.

Is there a way of doing this within CL6 itself or would it be best just calling the STOP/START routines thru WINDOWS TASK SCHEDULER/cron job ?

      Thanks,

      Tom

          Tom,

You could do this via alert as you were attempting to do.  You just need to configure the alert with the commands you want to execute based on the condition (i.e. thread status is up, or whatever) and use the ‘Time Window’ option to configure it within a certain time frame/window.

          Hope that helps.

            Hi Jim,

            Thanks very much !

For some reason my brain did not see the TIME WINDOW option.

            Will give that a try.

            Tom
