The usual suspects – were there any software changes, or any new threads created, especially those with java-based protocols. If you have advanced security, possibly a save of NetConfig could be including connections between servers (but I’m not 100% sure; we have basic security). Our sites definitely save slower when we have DB Inbound or Outbound protocols, although I’m not sure v5.8.7 has those. We also have the Direct Adapter, which is java-based, and also increases the save time. If you have ODBC, that also increases save time.
