Running CAA-WS offline

Hi,

I have just started playing with CAA-WS 1.0 and noticed that when I start a site it is taking 5-10 minutes to start due to timeouts while trying to download xsd schemas from the internet.

It appears that the issue is with the xml configuration file generated by WSConfigurator.jar.

I could try updating the generated xml configuration to point to local xsd files, but it would be preferable to have an offline mode that does not require an internet connection.

Will version 2.0 have the ability for an offline mode?

Otherwise what has been the workaround used by anyone to prevent the attempts to connect to the internet.

I’ve found updating the xml configuration with the following allows it to start up correctly, however the WSConfigurator changes it back when an update is made. So would still like to know if there is any other method for offline use.
