I’m trying to resend messages from the ErrorDB using command:

        hcicmd -p prc_adt -c “. resend_errordb 0.0.89787938”

I’m using the msgMid from the ErrorDB.

From the response it looks like the command was processed succesfully:

       Response:

       Message [0.0.89787938] has been resent

Placed message from error database into the IB pre-SMS queue

       Successfully resent 1 message(s)

After this the messages has been removed from the ErrorDB.

But I’m not seeing the HL7 message in the outbound SMAT of the destination thread and I also can’t find the HL7 ACK message in the inbound SMAT of my thread.

And that makes me think the messages wasn’t send to the client (I wish I could see the logfiles of that client to be sure…).

      Am I doing something wrong?

          Hi Diana,

You won’t see the message in the inbound SMAT, because the message hasn’t gone through this part of the flow.

Have you checked the log file of this process to see if this message has created a new error? It could also have create a new errordb entry.

I have never resend error messages this way. I either resend the inbound/outbound message from SMAT or I resend the error message to a file by using ‘hcidbdump -e’ and then resend this file through the GUI.

          Hope this helps.
