Removing hosts from the selection drop-down box

We are in the process of moving our test Cloverleaf processes from one AIX server to a new on.  [CL 5.7, patch 2].  Is there any way to remove the invalid host from the selection drop-down box in the IDE?

Mike,

You’ll need to edit your client.ini file.  Assuming that you accepted all of the defaults during the client install, it’s located here:

C:quovadxqdx5.7integratorclientclient.ini

1.  Edit the ‘hosts:’ line and remove the invalid host

2.  Remove the pair of lines that look like this:

   [host_yourHostName_cl_srv]

   url=//yourHostName:13017/RMI_CloverleafServer_1.0

That should take care of it.

Thanks for the post.

This has been bugging me for a long time and I wonder why I just didn’t ask cloverltech.

I’ve been just ignoring the bogus host name but no more as I deleted them today.

Now my IDE list is clean.
