I have a question about upgrading to 5.8 approach. Standard, safe, proven approach is to upgrade a test system with a complete new release, then move forward. We are on release 5.7 and still need this active. My understanding is 5.8 can be installed on the same test server, would have different root directory — /data/quovadx/qdx5.8/integrator/ versus /data/quovadx/qdx5.7/integrator/ Need a new hci signon, not sure how to handle $HCIROOT value? This would allow separate site_master for source and separate Cloverleaf thread sites. The intent is to build a new CLoverleaf upgraded environment for the Epic project while having the 5.7 site remain for current Production support and certain need to be done now interface development. Save on new servers, connectivity/firewall/vendor issues. Is this truly possible? Environment would be controlled as to what would be active/running in the environments. I was told a couple of years ago, that we could install a release this way, but would like know from the true Cloverleaf users………….
