      Hello,

We are using Windows 2003 Server SP2 and Cloverleaf 5.3. When we reboot our server we have to stop all of our running processes on all of our site then execute the hcidbinit

First you should also init the control files, so use hcidbinit -AC

You can script this by adding the f (force flag) hcidbinit -ACf

I *DO NOT* recommend this!!  Before you init the database you should first check it to see if there is anything in the recovery or error database you want to save.

            Thank you Charlie,

Is there a command to stop processes and daemons? Stopping the processes and daemons is also a part of our shutdown procedure.
