      Hello Clovertechers

      I Have this old list of thing to go through when cleaning up a site.

      Is there anything that is unnecessary e.g. keybuild and dchain  or is there anything you would like to add

      $ setsite <site>

      Stop all processes

      $ hcisitectl -K

      $ hcisitecleanup

      $ hcimsiutil -R

      $ rm $HCISITEDIR/exec/monitorShmemFile

      $ rm $HCISITEDIR/exec/databases/rdm.taf

      $ rm $HCISITEDIR/lock/*

      $ hcidbinit -ACif

      $ keybuild rlog

      $ keybuild elog

      $ dchain rlog

      $ dchain elog

      $ hcisitectl -S

      Start all processes

          Hi did you ever get an answer?  And what version are you using this for?

            Hi

            I never got any response to this, so any input is appreciated.

            Cloverleaf version is 19.x and 20.x

            I seen your post, “Site restart and clean up”, hope you got some responses

            /Torfinn

              By doing a ‘hcidbinit -CAf’ you initialize all databases completely: all databases get wiped clean. This also means clearing both error and recovery database. You will only want to do that in test or if you have no other way of restarting Cloverleaf. In a production system you will want to check/save the error and recovery database before initializing all databases.

              And if you do the ‘hcidbinit -CAf’ then the following keybuild/dchain commands are superfluous, as the databases have just been initialized.
