The STRING Action Functions are very useful.
I think it would also be useful to have a like framework for LIST Action Functions.
More and more, I am beginning to see lists being provided either in actual data or as a result of DB work. Obviously, one can write Tcl procs to handle these but that is true with Strings as well. If the basic List functions could be utilized with a native Xlate LIST Action that might be useful.
One thing that definitely needs to be fixed, though, is the User ITERATE which besides having a ridicules limit (I have heard it 1024 character), does not handle properly formed lists (as I indicated in an older post on that topic).
