Procedure not found on Reload

Hello,

I just made changes to 3 existing TCL Procs, all on the same process – 2 of 3 reload fine on the process, the 3rd one doesn’t. This is a proc we’ve had for years and have reloaded numerous times before. I’ve done a re-index of the TCL index and have even bounced the process and no luck. Running 5.8.

The output message I get is “Procedure “teletrack_adts” not found on reload” but it is on the directory larger than life and no other errors have come up. Suggestions?

I would run the mktclindex command in the $HCISITEDIR/tclprocs directory, then re-try.  Take a look at the tclIndex file within that directory to make sure you see a reference to that proc.

Already tried mktclindex from the DIR before making this post and no luck.

Check to see if you somehow added a space character to the name.

Fixed – it’s always the little things that get you – a missing curly brace. When I made the changes to the proc, I was changing a list and nothing procedure / argument wise, so I must have fat fingered and took out a brace.

Yeah I have over the years learned (and with Charlie Burselll’s taeching) to always do a match on the curly brace beginning the proc as a last check.

That one thing has saved me grief a lot.
