problem with alert

      Running CL 5.8.5  .  I have an thread status for OPENING alert for an outbound thread set to run 7-21 hours Monday to Friday.  The threshhold is for 10 minutes.

      I received an alert at 7:00 am this morning.   Yet when I look in the process log, it shows that the interface dropped at 6:59, clearly not a full 10 minutes.  But yet it triggered.  

      Any clue to what’s happening?

          I suspect that because the thread was ‘Opening’ when the alert schedule kicked in, and thus no intial timer set when the condition started, this caused the alert to trigger.

            If that’s the case, then it’s really a false alert, since it was really not in an OPENING state for the 10 minutes.  That also means for any alert that’s not 7 by 24, there is a time when the alert Window opens and it could be in the state that it’s checking for, just not for the duration.

            That’s a problem.
