      We are using Cloverleaf 5.7PRev1.

I downloaded the CDA Release 2 from the HL7 website as Cerner says this is what they are using to create the CCDA from Millennium.

I dropped the CDA.xsd and POCD_MT000040.xsd files into a folder underneath ‘xml’ called CCDA and then a subdirectory named Cerner.

I copied the xsd files in the processable/coreschemas directory to site under ‘xml’ directory on Cloverleaf.

Since the CDA.xsd file is the only one with a global name element, it is the only one I can compile. However, when compiling, I am getting warnings and wonder if anyone else has had the same issue. I’m attaching screenshots of the fileystem structure and the warnings I am receiving.

I can bring up the XML in an XLATE, so it did compile as it said. Just not getting the pretty green checkmark that goes along with validation.

          Hi Mike,

I recognize this immediately. We had the same thing last year when we tried to compile the CDA XSDs in Cloverleaf.

We first tried it on CL5.5 (our production system); compiling went all right, but the testingtool gave an error. We then tried it on our test CL5.7 rev1 system and we got the exact same errors as you have.

We submitted this to our CL reseller here and they couldn’t help us: they could compile the CDA in 5.8 or higher, but had the same problems in 5.7. So in the end we had to do this in a completely different way.

            Robert,

Can you please share your resolution? Upgrading at this point is not an option, although we will be moving to 6.x sometime in late 2015/early 2016.

            Mike

Word back from Infor is that they don’t believe 5.7 can handle these schemas.

Not a good thing. Suggestions for workaround would be much appreciated.

Yes, that supports the findings of our local reseller.

As I said: we did something completely different outside Cloverleaf. Our webmaster has build a webservice that can be called by our HIS (SAP IS-H) and then deliver the complete CDA as a file to Cloverleaf. The only thing Cloverleaf needs do is to deliver the CDA (via IB) to the organization that needs the CDA.

We didn’t have the option of upgrading as well. We are in the process of upgrading though; maybe we will have 6.0 by the end of 2017…
