PART OF OBX DELETION

      Does anyone out there know how to delete part of the OBX segment from the message. The company receiving the message only need OBX 1 – through 4. I need to find a way to delete the rest. please help.

          Sebastien,

          If you are using BULKCOPY or PATHCOPY, then you need to null out the fields you do not want.

          If you are doing a field by field Xlate, then don’t build the fields you don’t want.

          If you are using raw route with no Xlate, then you will need a Tcl proc to remove the fields you do not want.

          Just remember when nulling out the fields if there are components you will either need to null each component or use PATHCOPY @null –> .

            thanks for replying. but I’m not that knowledgeable with xlate. could you please a bit more specific. perhaps a few steps. Just started learning cloverleaf.
