In the ‘Outbound’ tab, for the ‘Thread Configuration’, there is a setting in the bottom that can be checked and is called ‘Await Replies’, what does that setting do? Is it to receive an acknowledgement?
This setting indicates that the thread should expect an application-level reply.
Most of the time, the reply will be an ACK. However, in some interfaces, the reply may also be some data, like a response to a query sent by the thread (Query – Response interface).
In the “Thread Configuration” — Thread tab, turn on inbound smat by checking the box labeled “Save inbound messages”. Indicate the smat file name, save the NetConfig and bounce the process for the new setting to become effective. Now all your acks will be saved in the smat file you indicated and you can view them at your pleasure.
