ODBC in cloverleaf

      We would like to retrieve some data in sql server/window. populate those data in oracle database…. since it cross the different server, I think of the cloverleaf interface engine’s odbc option, can anyone who experienced ODBC in cloveaf throw some light on it and i got some ideal, any input will be much appriciated, again i am new to ODBC in cloverleaf…. thanks

          I’m currently experimenting with the TCL ODBC driver functionality within Cloverleaf.  The product is a DataDirect product (I think).  I am just a newbie when it comes to using and configuring Cloverleaf.  I

            Hi,

            The ODBC Tcl extensions provided by Quovadx are quite good but I have found them to be a bit ‘fussy’ sometimes.

            I have connected to Oracle, MS SQL Server and MySQL using both DataDirect and Native drivers.

            I run a course teaching Tcl and ODBC but I’m afraid this is only available in the UK – Any body want to fund my trip to the States:-)?

              I have not used ODBC, but I have experimted with JDBC and have succesfully connected to our PAS systems Oracle (7.3!) database without issue and with no Oracle software installed on our (AIX) server.

                Just my ignorance .. how do you connect the JDBC to your TCL?

                    We use the Cloverleaf Java hooks to call the Java classes.
