ODBC connection to DB2 on AS400

Hello, I am going to start an integration using Cloverleaf 5.x (license to be ordered) and i will need to read/write info on a DB2 database on AS400 platform. I just want to ask:

1) if access to this dbms is fully supported by Cloverleaf

2) any important constraint i must be aware of?

3) is it possible to receive the odbc reference for 5.4 to document in advance?
