null pointer exception

      We are on Cloverleaf 5.3, AIX 5.2.   We are frequently getting a null pointer exception when opening Network Monitor in one of our sites.   hciss -k h/hciss -s h temporarily resolves the problem.

      We have another site that consistently fails to update the thread status on the Network Monitor screen.

      What are some likely places to start looking for the cause of these issues?
