The Result is the engine writes out a zero byte file to the receiving system and does not write the message in the outbound SMAT. We’ve got the message echo’d out to the log file otherwise we’d have to compare inbound SMAT to outbound SMAT to find the missing message.
We’d like to be able to trap the problem send out an alert and then queue all messages behind the failed message. But it just goes on to the next message.
