Need help to setup a test cloverleaf server

I am a cloverleaf student so please be patient if you think I am asking a stupid question. 🙂

I am trying to create a test cloverleaf server which i can use to PLAY without worrying about causing problem to the “in use” live and test environments.

I am using a windows XP box and the files that i am using to install CL are the ones that were handed out to us in the flash drive during our first CL training. The version I got trained on was ver 5.5 rev 1.

Every time i run the setup, the files are being copied, yet the exe files are not being generated, neither an icon being created for cloverleaf.

Any help will be appreciated.

Welcome to Cloverleaf and clovertech.

Why not just create a site that is your test site in the test environment?

All of our Integration Architect/Engineers have their own site on our test platform where they can experiment to their hearts content.

Normally you won’t be doing anything in your site that will have much effect on the entire test environment.

Hi Shebaz,

Jim’s right: you normally make a test-site on the same Cloverleaf server, where you can develop/test without interfering with production.

If you’re trying to install Cloverleaf as a server, then you will need a licence (key) to get Cloverleaf to work.
