I am trying to chain 2 Xlate in the same route. But it seems that the resulting message from the first Xlate is not being read by the second Xlate.

I tried to add continue at the end of Xlate 1. But it didn’t help.

      any help is appreciated.

      Thanks,

      Wen

          Wen,

I just did a test using Cloverleaf 6.0 and the second Xlate sucessfully did what it was supposed to and did get chained.

What release of Cloverleaf – and what are your route configuration settings?

            Good morning,

I know this thread is really old, but I ran into a similar problem today setting up some test chaining. What I discovered, in my case, that caused the problem was the first xlate used explicit SEND commands, which bypasses any further chaining. Changing the SEND to CONTINUE corrected the issue with my first xlate.

Just wanted to put that information out for anyone in the future searching for chained routes.

            Thanks,

            Mark

One of the things I stress in my Xlate class is the difference between SEND and CONTINUE.

I recommend the use of CONTINUE unless one knows they really need a SEND just to prevent this kind of situation.

I am glad you figured it out in a timely manner.
