Monitor ACK sent out of CL

AIX system.

I’m sure this is a ‘duh’ question, but is there a way to monitor the ACK messages sent from Cloverleaf to the various receiving threads?  We do monitor ACK/NACK back from downstream systems, but how do you monitor those being sent out?  Is there a way to determine the time between the message and the ack?

One way…

Turn on the outbound SMAT on the inbound thread (assuming you are using a UPoC for ack generation). Now you have trapped the ack message you generate with a date/time stamp ehn Cloverleaf sent the ack.
