MM recovery file fileset-mys_chg_inis bogus!^J Error

Hello,

We are testing the 5.8 platform on AIX, we currently use 5.6 rev 1.  In bringing up the threads on one of the sites we are seeing this error:   MM recovery file fileset- thread name is bogus!^J.  Has anyone seen this before and know the cause?

Hi Lisa,

We ran into very similar error when going from 5.4 to 5.7R1 when trying to start inbound threads that use the protocol ‘fileset-local’.

The solutions provided by Healthvision was pretty straightforward:

– Stop the thread;

– Delete the file;

– Start the thread.

The cause was that the old version used a file size different from the new version.

Thank you, but it is still an issue.  

The directory for the file pick up is empty.   I even changed the directory to look for the file and the same error occurs.

Look in the process directory for a file called “fileset-“

This is the file you will need to delete.
