MM/DD/YYYY date Type

I am using the VRL Configurator and have a field that needs to be in the format MM/DD/YYYY.  In the Data Type dropdown there is only MM/DD/YY.   Has there been an update to add the MM/DD/YYYY format?  We are using ver 5.3.  Guess I will use tcl to format it the way I need it.

Jim,

The FRL date fields allow you to add two to the length of the field which causes the engine to add the century to the date.  I didn’t try it but I assume that VRL should work the same way.

Thanks Greg.  I just finished putting in the tcl to do the formatting manually so I don’t need this now.  It would be nice to know if anyone has done this with vrl.  It would save a lot of work.
