Migration from Cloverleaf 3.5.5 to Cloverleaf 5.4.1

We have recently completed a migration from

AIX 4.3.3, Cloverleaf 3.5.5 to

AIX 5.3,    Cloverleaf 5.4.1.

We migrated roughly 60 sites, using scripts, driven from a web page.

Hi Richard,

We are planning an upgrade from 3.8.1 to 5.4 . Not quite the jump you did.

What issues , errors did you encountered with TCL scripts XLTs, commands that needed changing ( apart from pointing to the new directories. )

We had no issues with either TCL scripts or Xlates etc.  The TCL revision between 3.5.5 and 5.4 is minimal.

I wrote a simple Perl script to change the NetConfig root specific stuff, like  bitmaps etc and these were saved with the 5.4 GUI’s.

We ensured that we could prove that there was no difference in output between the two versions.
