Migrating from 5.8.5.0 to 6.1.0.0

We’re a Cloverleaf 5.8.5.0 site running on Windows Server 2008 and are considering migrating to 6.1.0.0. Has anyone done this migrating and if so how did it go?

I would recommend going to 6.1.1; it’s a patch release to 6.1.0 and adds alot of features, plus resolves a few issues in 6.1.0

We went from 5.8.5 to 6.1.1, but on AIX, not Windows.  The upgrade was smooth and is no different that going from any other version upgrade.

We upgraded from 5.7 on Win 2003 to 6.1.1 on Win 2008(test)/Win 2012 (prod) a few months ago.

I agree with James, 6.0, 6.1.0 had some problems, better go 6.1.1.

We had to change our code to use SQLite instead of GDBM. New 6.1.1 is much more stable than 5.7 (we skipped 5.8, so I can’t compare with with it)
