When we resend a message from SMAT to an inbound thread, what is the significance of Inbound pre TPS, Inbound post TPS, Outbound pre TPS & Outbound post TPS?
I believe it is as to whether you want to run the tclprocs you may have in the tps inbound data location or not and same for outbound. If you only have an ACK producing tclproc, you may want to skip it for instance. If you have a kill proc in your outbound tps data, you may want to skip it by sending to tps outbound data post….
It determines what the state of the message when it’s added to the interface.
Look at the Inbound tab of a source thread and Outbound tab of destination thread. The pre-post selections refer to the TPS fields on these tabs. So, if you have a tps proc defined in Inbound TPS, then choosing Inbound Pre TPS places the message before the TPS proc(s). Etc.
